Exciting items on the agenda
At GM2020 Teacher +Yajn will ascend to fill the position of Senior Council President and Chairperson of the Board of Directors that were vacant for the past sixteen years.
At GM2020 the first Junior Council will be formed and several members selected from India and Anglo-speaking western world will be appointed to form this international Council and regional representatives to plan and set in motion international projects to forward Wayism in the western world.

Diwali runs from Thursday 12th to Monday 16th Nov. Saturday 14th Nov is the main day, the Festival of Light.
Workshops & Excursions
Teacher +Yajn at Sarnath, Varanasi
Over ten days from 9 to 29 November several workshops and excursions are planned, culminating in the magnificent Dev Diwali celebration on the Ganges River on Sunday 29th November.
Teacher +Yajn presents a workshop on Advanced Meditation as Lifestyle, on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th Nov 19. Excursions late afternoon to evening.
Teacher Adele+ hosts a workshop on Spiritual Healing Energy for Everyday on Sunday 21 and Monday 22 Nov. Excursions late afternoon to evening.
Other workshops in the evenings and open days are combined with guided excursions to Varanasi’s unique Temples, Ghats and other sightseeing trips. Every excursion offers spirituality learning and practice opportunities.

2020 Dev Diwali
Dev Deepawali (Diwali of Gods) is celebrated 15 days after Diwali. It is a famous Utsav celebrated every year at the holy city Varanasi. Dev Deepawali, which is also spelled as Dev Diwali, is celebrated to mark the victory of Lord Shiva over demon Tripurasur (त्रिपुरासुर). Hence Dev Deepawali Utsav is also known as Tripurotsav or Tripurari Purnima which is observed on the auspicious day of Kartik Purnima.
On
Dev Deepawali, devotees take a holy dip in the Ganges on the auspicious
day of Kartik Purnima and light earthen lamps or Diya(s) in the
evening. When the dusk sets, the steps of all the Ghats on the
riverfront of the Ganges are lit with millions of earthen lamps. Not
only the Ghats of Ganges but also all temples of Benares are lit with
millions of Diya(s).
When Teacher +Yusa passed over in 2003, he designated Teacher +Yajn to take the lead of Senior Council. Teacher +Yajn was designated to lead Senior Council in 2003 by vote, based on Teacher +Yusa’s wishes. The position however remained vacant for sixteen years more as Teacher +Yajn declined the appointment. But things have changed.
During the AGM of 2017, Teacher +Yajn announced that he will take up the position as the “public face” of Wayism International in 2020.
We met with Teacher +Yajn at his offices in Canada during September 2018 to talk about what motivated him to finally take the step.

Q: Teacher Yajn, academically speaking, you are known to be the most most highly qualified teacher in Wayism, internationally. You have several degrees in religious studies and you earned the highest degrees in Divinity that our school offers, you are in fact a Doctor of Divinity. What were the reasons for declining the senior position on Council for more than a decade?
A: It was not a one-time thing, that decision. And it was also not just a handful of reasons why. I had to remake that decision perhaps twenty times and restate my position on it over many years. For a student to not follow through on his Teacher’s wishes is a weight and burden that is very hard to carry. I did that carrying for all those years. Now it will be over in 2020. I am now qualified to do perform that task but am still very junior.
Q: Teacher. You say that you are junior but you wrote several books on Wayism, you also edited the Eastern Bible in English and co-authored Wayism: The Primary Text. Also, you wrote thousands of pages course materials in Pneumatherapy and many, many more feats. Why do you say that only now you are qualified?
A: This task is one of fielding a multinational campaign with very little money and a leadership team who never had the opportunities to embrace and learn the intricacies of the Internet, digital publications and communications. Our leadership team was trapped in monasteries from Kashgar to Coimbatore, in jungle and mountain villages. It took more than a decade to get one book published because that is what it takes to consult all the older teachers across several spiritual traditions. In understood Teacher +Yusa’s instructions as that, to first harvest the wisdom, and then to find sponsors and then to lead the team.
Q: Are you confidant that sponsors will be forthcoming, now that you have harvested the ancient wisdoms and are making it available?
A: I am confidant. Based on my experience working for the cause almost all of my life, sometimes with not enough money for food. Then money comes enough to start a shelter for homeless women and orphan babies. Heaven is always working on the souls of people who want to help and some of them cannot help with their hands and minds but with their financial means. Money is not the only thing we need. We need hearts. You cannot buy that even with millions in the bank, you cannot buy the labour of love. I know the angels and spiritual beings personally, I have been employed by them for decades. I have had many, many arguments with them about budgets and business plans. They see the world quite differently. I know in my heart that right now as we speak they are working on someone in the most unlikely place in the USA to show her very sensitive soul what she needs to do to not perish and to honour the legacy of her ancestors. I also know of someone in China, a person in Canada and others in the Americas who are being saved by the same angels. It will all work out as it must for everyone concerned.
Q: Teacher, have you met these people?
A: I don’t know whether I did meet them or not. My knowledge of this comes from the metaphysical plane. I have a knowing, but I don’t care much about details as that will come when its time is right.
Q: Teacher. Why 2020 and not 2018 or 2019?
A: Well. One must know what happened in 2012, metaphysically that is. It was a new era that started. Four years after 2016, if you look back you will see the signs, it was the first foundation laid. Four years after that, 2020, the whole foundation is built and it is time then to raise the new era up. You must also know when the ancients projected the year 2012 will be the swing point in spirituality, they were working from the previous calendar, the Gregorian calendar now in use came much later. According to the old calendar still in use in Ethiopia, which is 6 later, because that was the supposed birth date of Teacher Jesus, the year 2012 starts in March of 2020. What will happen from 2020 onward, on the spiritual energy development level of humankind will be like an explosion and the most sensitive, the most adept at this craft, will be challenged with ever increasing higher awareness and millions of people will awaken. Nobody is prepared for this, it will be bigger than anything we have lived through in recent times. I think our task is one of emergency care. We need to prepare thousands of healers, teachers and guides to save millions of souls in the next twenty years, and it will take all of us getting together to do our dharma.
Q: Teacher Yajn, we all look forward to your leadership and I for one, and many others sit poised to follow your lead. may God be with you and all of us.
A: Thank you. We will all flow well and I know it will be great fun and a whole bunch of joy will be had to share with everyone.

Teacher Adele+ opened a school in Cambodia. She now teaches in Ontario, Canada and in Siem Reap, Cambodia. In 1995 Teacher Adele+ taught Wayism at St. Origen Ashram in South Africa.
Beloved Teacher +Yusa relocated to the immaterial plane during September 2002 at age 75. Now working from Sukhavati, Teacher +Yusa continues to inspire us.

Teacher +Yusa was born Yerem Nazaryan in 1927 or 1925 in the city of Konya, in Turkey.
His father was a Turkish national, a Sufi of the Mevlevi Order. His mother was from an Armenian Christian house, she had lost all her family in the genocide and had suffered much abuse at the hands of the conquerors because of her class, gender and religious background. She was rescued by her husband, who subsequently paid a great price of social outcast for that, and him being a mystic, a Sufi.
The Mevlevi Order was outlawed in Turkey in September 1925 by the new Turkish Republic. While still a baby, Teacher +Yusa’s parents moved to Kurdistan, who was friendlier to followers of the Way, and tolerated even Christians.
Teacher used to say, “I was raised on soul food: humility, simplicity, and compassion; with music, poetry, mysticism and a burning desire to find the unity in religions as dessert”.
As a young man and ardent student, he was ordained as Mar Yusa, in the Ancient Church of the East. He served in what is today Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir. Ancient Church of the East, not a Christian movement but originating from the work of Lord Jesus and St. Thomas in Kashmir, was on its last leg because over many years already members and congregations capitulated to various Thomas Christian Churches under continuous pressure of Islamization and British imperialism fielding Christian doctrines.
+Yusa always had, it was said, “one foot in Sufism, one foot in the Church, his head in Wayism”. He grew up as a Wayist and even before ordination in the Church of the East was influential in Wayism of that area.
In the 1970s he became the head of the Wayist movement for the area from Baghdad all the way East to Calcutta. The Council then had Sufi, Christian, Shaivist, and Church of the East clergy in his Wayist Council.
Teacher +Yusa was notoriously media-shy. In 1972 (approximately) he was kidnapped by Muslim extremists in Kashmir to force the congregations to convert to Islam, an event that made the newspaper upon his release.
In old age, Teacher suffered from arthritis due to multiple wounds on bones sustained during years of religious persecution.
Beloved Teacher is remembered for many wonderful works, also for his restoration of Pneumatherapy, his lectures on Wayist Yogi Philosophy and as foremost Wayist teacher of the time. +Yusa was always firts a mystic, and taught from that base.
1992
Teacher +Yusa served enclaves from Mumbai, north to Kafiristan and East to Shimla. He had a burning passion to recollect ancient Wayist teaching, keeping it pure. He gathered scholars from China, Aghanistan, Iran, Turkey and India to preserve the teaching.
In 1999, Teacher +Yusa ordained Teacher +Yajn to serve the Anglophone world and made it possible for him to gain training and teaching materials. Late in life, he championed the Anglophone version of the Eastern Bible.

The spirit of survival and renewal instilled in Wayism by Teacher +Yusa is very much alive today. It is safe to say that everything that today makes Wayism a known entity in the western awareness has its roots in the tremendous spirit instilled by our beloved Teacher +Yusa.
